Leading the Future as Petroleum Industry Leader Rolls Out High-Performance DC Chargers from BTC POWER
About the Multinational Oil and Gas Company and its EV Charging Subsidiary
A multinational oil and gas company created an e-mobility division, a dedicated business focused on electric mobility solutions. These solutions include charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. This petroleum giant started to diversify and completed the purchase of a company, now a subsidiary, that operates a nationwide network of electric vehicle charging stations focusing on commercial and public locations. This EV charging subsidiary reportedly operates more than 3,600 charging stalls across 35 U.S. states and territories.
The Charging Network Integration Challenge
This energy giant required high-performance, scalable, and reliable charging solutions to support this new business venture and its rapidly growing electric vehicle charging network. Overall, the network needed a partner that could provide advanced charging technology, commissioning services, maintenance support, and solutions to address inventory imbalances.
This project acted as the pilot program for BTC POWER Power’s Gen4 product line, including the 180kW All-in-One (AiO) and 360kW Split Systems, turning to it as the best solution to meet its charging infrastructure requirements. BTC POWER’s ability to provide commissioning services for DCFC (direct-current fast charger) installations, proposed maintenance service-level agreements, and additional Gen4 dispensers to balance the charging station’s inventory supplied this project with a comprehensive solution.
