Quality Assurance Director

Position Summary:

The Quality Assurance (QA) Director will oversee the activity of the quality assurance department and staff, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organization’s products and/or development processes.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
  • Develops, implements & maintains compliance to the AS9100/ISO9001
  • Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.
  • Communicates quality standards and parameters to QA team, product development team, and other appropriate staff.
  • Coordinates product testing processes.
  • Participates in product testing.
  • Identifies and analyzes issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues.
  • Reviews client, customer, and user feedback.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or field related to the products being developed required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in related field required with supervisory experience a plus.
  • ISO 9001 certification

Production Planner

Position Summary:

The Production Planner will be responsible for the analysis, planning, organizing, and controlling the flow of production to support scheduling of orders, materials, and services in support of established and scheduled customer commitments. The planner will work closely with the Master Scheduler, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, quality, production control and inventory control staff to identify and eliminate constraints.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule usage of production materials to ensure optimal production levels
  • Identify and resolve problems relating to inventory
  • Ensure that all transactions in MYSIS are successfully completed from release of order, WIP material, complete and close orders to transfer to Peachtree
  • Ensure that all MYSIS manufacturing orders and supporting documents are printed and allocated to production on time to fulfill the daily production schedule
  • Support the Master Production Scheduler to properly plan and provide the required level of finished goods products for all projects / product lines
  • Ensure that alternative parts are used where necessary to meet production demand
  • Plan and implement activities related to the timely, cost-effective preparation of production materials
  • Collaborate with Purchasing to maintain correctly balanced inventory levels on all purchased material and supplies to prevent out of stock conditions
  • Monitor and plan capacity levels in production and drive a level production planning concept
  • Eliminate past due backlog and back orders for all products determined to be available in stock upon demand
  • Responsible for all planning MRP requirements for assigned products
  • Participate in physical inventories
  • Maintain accuracy of serialized products in inventory locations

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related field is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Planner/Scheduler in an electronics manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 3 years of current experience with a computerized ERP/MRP such as MYSIS or equivalent system
  • Experience with multi-plant and off-shore production planning
  • Self-starter with excellent time management skills, project management and ability to work independently once a task is clearly understood.
  • Demonstrates teaming skills and ability to work with various personalities and influence positive outcomes.
  • Ability to use logic and problem-solving tools to analyze or identify underlying principles, reasons or facts from data gathering and to draw conclusions.

Project Coordinator / Customer Service Representative

Position Summary:

This position takes incoming service calls, evaluates the level of importance, creates service tickets, and reviews and analyzes technical support tickets and tracks incidents that occur with our Electric Car Chargers. The ideal candidate has a technical background in troubleshooting service calls. A proven service leader, excellent communicator, and decision-maker, and will also provide occasional escalation customer service as needed to our valued customers. This position report to the operations team, CSR Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day functional and technical support to our customers including testing and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Responsible for answering requests via tickets, chats, emails, and phone. These requests must be responded to promptly with the highest level of customer service possible.
  • Ensure proper, timely, and ongoing follow-up on assigned cases to ensure service level agreements are met and customer satisfaction is exceeded.
  • Respond to customer billing questions, challenges, and escalate to supervisor as needed.
  • Outbound contact with customers via phone and email to assist them with account management.
  • Own customer inquiries and follow issues through to excellent resolution.
  • Commit to being a subject matter expert on our products and brands for customers.
  • Communicate clearly with internal departments ensuring excellent service.
  • Prepare spreadsheets and word documents as required for reporting, analysis, documentation, and presentations.
  • Assist with customer feedback on our software and product testing for new products and functionality.
  • Coordinate the logistics for charger installations and commissioning.
  • Provide logistical support rollout and field upgrade projects.
  • Assist in scheduling the activities of field staff during project-related activities.
  • Ensure parts are shipped to field staff for any and all installations, commissioning, and project work.
  • Update project tracking lists and work orders and report progress to our customers
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of technical or customer service experience.
  • EV Charging network or automotive industry or experience is a plus.
  • Salesforce software experience (PLUS)
  • Outstanding service orientation and strong interpersonal skills that create positive relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Call Center experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated time management skills are required for this position to meet the turnaround and fulfillment times needed for success.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under tight deadlines and be a team player.
  • Excellent, professional, verbal, and written communicator with a coaching mindset.

Commodity Manager

Position Summary:

Broadband Telcom Power, an EV charging equipment manufacturing company, seeks a qualified Commodity Manager. This position is reported to the Director of Supply Chain and is responsible to develop, implement and maintain a materials strategy that optimizes cost savings while minimizing supply risks.

Responsibilities:

  • Executing various commodity strategies for Electric-Mechanical, Semiconductor, Metal and Plastic
  • Collaborates with internal business units and drives strategic alignment within the company to support long-term corporate sourcing strategies.
  • Support company to achieve the revenue and EBIT target. Ensure supply continuity and be responsible for supply chain risk management. 
  • Manage the overall supplier relationship with all key suppliers.
  • Support new product introduction projects through sourcing, negotiation and risk mitigation.
  • Drive the cost reduction program and meet the cost reduction goals for regular commercialized products.
  • In charge of supplier management program including, but not limited to, QBR, contract management, supplier score card, price management, capacity management, and spend analysis.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of assigned commodities, global supply market, pricing trend, and other best practices
  • Perform other job duties as assigned to meet business needs.

 Qualifications / Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree is required.
  • CPM and/or CPIM certification is preferred.
  • Experience in the electronics and electrical component industry is required; EV industry is a plus.
  • Excellent negotiations skills and analytical skills with the ability to manage and develop supplier relationships
  • A comprehensive understanding of procurement fundamentals with a minimum of (3) years of experience in sourcing or purchasing, AND a minimum of three (3) years of related experience either in quality, engineering or supply chain.
  • Excellent communication skill and ability to work with internal colleagues as well as suppliers at all levels within the organization in order to perform the duties described above.
  • Must be PC-literate; Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required to effectively communicate and negotiate with vendors & contractors in a professional manner.
  • Fluent English is a must.
  • Expect to travel 20-30% of the time, globally.

DC Product Manager

Position Summary:

The DC Product Manager is a fundamental role that will be responsible for the strategy and development of EVSE (Electric Vehicle Service Equipment) or charging equipment, for BTCPower. The successful candidate will be an experienced Product Manager who will drive product strategy with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction. We are looking for an individual that will implement and manage the ongoing performance of all products, services, programs, and marketing strategies to meet the needs of the various customer markets.

Major Responsibilities

  • Define the product vision, strategy, and road map of BTCPower’s DCFC-Products.
  • Develop, manage, and prioritize market & customer requirements
  • Define technical product requirements
  • Manage NPI (New Product Introduction) process with all key stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Works closely with engineering, sales, service, and manufacturing to ensure business KPIs and customer satisfaction goals are met
  • Acts as the product expert by acquiring deep functional knowledge of the DCFC-Product Family, as well as the customer advocate articulating the market problem internally
  • Conduct Voice of Customer activities
  • Track relevant market trends and the evolving competitive landscape while maintaining a comprehensive understanding of EV charging product applications and relevant standards
  • Manages the product strategy and controls pricing
  • Work with Marketing and Sales to Defining the added value of new product features and functionality for customer propositions
  • Work with third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
  • Ensure successful execution of Go-To-Market strategy

Skills and Qualifications

  • Engineering Bachelor’s Degree required (Engineering background, preferred in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related areas)
  • 5+ years Product Management Experience
  • Proven track record in successfully bringing new products to market & product portfolio lifecycle management
  • Strong experience in agile project management, setting up project plans, estimating development efforts, and managing the involved stakeholder in a well-mannered fashion
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Willingness to learn new skillsets and take on new tasks
